How to Get to Kelantan National Park, Kuala Koh, Kelantan

Visitors can either drive or take the public transportation (taxi) to Kuala Koh from Gua Musang, Kelantan.

Permit and License

Each visitor must obtain an entrance permit at RM1.00 per person. Fishing license costs RM10.00 each while camera license is RM5.00 per camera.

Accommodation

There are 6 chalets and a hostel with 70 beds available. Accommodation is now manage by Taman Negara Kelantan. Campsite facilities renting with the fee of RM1.00 / person / night

* Accommodation in Taman Negara Kelantan have been temporarily closed for refurbishment.

Activities

Fishing

There are some great fishing spots here:

  • Lubuk Sinar
  • Lubuk Kedah
  • Lubuk Jengal
  • Lubok Kaloi Bawah
  • Lubok Kaloi Atas
  • Lubuk Pintu Raja (open twice / month and maximum of 3 people)
  • Lubuk Kem Besu (open once a month)

Jungle Trekking

  • The most famous trails are Ara trail and Sinar trail.
  • The longest trail is Kuala Pertang trail which takes 3 hours.

Photography

A photographer’s paradise, Taman Negara is blessed with exquisite beauty and variety of flora and fauna.

Bird Watching

There are many different species of birds as attraction such as White-rumped Shama, Rhinoceros Hornbill, Great Argus, Helmeted Hornbill and Greater Racket-Tailed Drongo.
